How to quickly learn casino card games and have fun doing it
In casino card games, the basic rules are pretty simple. Players sit around a table and take turns being the dealer. A deck of cards is shuffled and then dealt out to the players clockwise. The player with the lowest card showing starts the game and plays, then proceeds clockwise.
The object of most casino games is to win money by having the highest card total or by forcing all other players to fold (drop out of the hand). The winner is the one who either has the best hand or who has forced all other players to fold. In some games, like poker, players bet against each other instead of playing for money.
Basic Casino Rules:
To play casino card games, Caziwoo USA states that there are a few basic rules that you will need to follow.
Once all players have been dealt their cards, the first betting round will begin. The betting begins with the player with the lowest card showing. On their turn, each player can either call (matched the previous bet), raise (bets more), or fold (drops out of the hand).
If no one has raised when it is a player’s turn to bet, they may check instead of gambling. They put no money into the pot, and their turn passes to the next player.
After the first betting round, the dealer will burn a card (take the top card off of the deck and set it aside) and then deal out three cards face up in the middle of the table. These are community cards that all of the players can use.
Once all players have had a chance to bet, the dealer will burn a card (take the top card off the deck and set it aside) and then deal out one more community card. This is called “the turn.”
After the turn, there is one final round of betting. Once all players have had a chance to bet, the dealer will “burn” a card (take the top card off the deck and set it aside) and then deal out one more community card. This is called “the river.”
Once all of the bettings have been resolved, the showdown. This is when all of the players reveal their hands. The player with the “best hand” wins the pot.
Players who have the same hand will split the pot.
