The deck of cards that we play today has gone through so many modifications it’s almost impossible to keep track of them. But over those many modifications, the card deck that we use today has managed to stick around.

To be honest, there really isn’t much to say bout the 52 cards in a deck. But what most people believe is that the 52 cards represent the 52 weeks in the year. And that the 13 cards per suit represent the 13 lunar cycles.
