The digital bridge world is about to get rowdy with Bridge Brawl, a creator-led tournament featuring 18 streamers and a tennis-style beer card twist.
The digital bridge world is about to witness a historic collision. From March 10 to March 22, 18 of the most prominent bridge content creators will compete in the first-ever Bridge Brawl. This Soloway style tournament on Bridge Base Online (BBO) combines high-level strategy with a rowdy, spectator-driven atmosphere.
The creative force behind Bridge Brawl is Kai Eckert, better known in the community as Kai from the Bridgin’ With Kai YouTube and Twitch channels.
He has spent the last six months organizing this event, coordinating with 18 different creators and Bridge Base Online (BBO) to bring the tournament to life. Kai is also the primary organizer of the community fundraiser on GoFundMe, which supports the event’s prize pool.

The event kicks off immediately following the St. Louis NABC. The competition features two distinct phases to test the endurance and skill of every “Brawler.”
Round Robin Phase (March 10 – March 16) The 18 creators are split into two groups. Every team plays against everyone else in their group to determine the seeding for the next stage. These matches set the tone and establish the early favorites for the title.
KO Phase (March 20 – March 22) Rankings from the round robin lead into an “A” and “B” Knockout bracket. This ensures that every team, regardless of their initial standing, stays in the hunt for the prize pool. The KO matches feature a “tennis-style” win condition involving the legendary beer card to keep players and viewers on their toes.
While standard bridge matches are decided by International Match Points (IMPs), the Bridge Brawl KO phase introduces a scoring system inspired by tennis. You can read the Bridge Brawl rules here but in short –
